Person- Centred Counselling
The core purpose of person-centred therapy is to help us self-actualise and reach our full potential. This approach facilitates the personal growth and relationships of you 'the client' by allowing you to explore and utilise your own strengths.
When attending counselling sessions with a person-centred counsellor, you will be encouraged to bring your own issues to each session. The sessions will be led by you and not the counsellor. A person-centred counsellor will help you explore your own feelings and beliefs and regular behaviour patterns, so that you can become more self-aware.
In turn, this will help you get a better understanding of the way you live your life and how to improve it.
